2018 Bay Area Classic Yo-Yo Contest: This FREE event will be held at Jack London Square in Oakland. You can learn to yo-yo and watch the professionals as they compete in the yo-yo championship. It will be held from 10am to 5pm.
San Francisco Carnaval: This FREE event will be held at Harrison and 24thStreet in Mission. Bring the family and enjoy the dancing, drumming, live music, amazing costumes and delicious food. 400,000 people are expected to attend this pageantry of color and culture. The parade will be held at 9:30a with the street fair lasting until 6pm.

46rh Annual Muir Beach Firemen’s BBQ This FREE event will be held from 12:00p to 5p at Santos Meadow in Mill Valley. Bring the family and enjoy delicious food, activities for the kids, live music and dancing. This is also a fundraiser for the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department. Parking does cost $20.
Memorial Day Patriotic Music Concert: This FREE event will be held at Spreckles Temple of Music inside Golden Gate Park from 1p-4p. The music will be patriotic to honor those veterans and current military members and their families.
Monday
150thAnniversary Memorial Day Commemoration: This FREE event will run from 9:30am to 2pm at the Main Post Lawn at the Presidio. The ceremony will honor the Americans who gave their life while serving in the U.S. Armed forced. There will be a flag raising, a grand march, the ceremony and then finish with the community picnic.
2018 Memorial Day Commemoration & Tour: This FREE event begins at 10a at the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. There will be a presentation of colors, salute of the fallen and guest speakers.
San Ramon Art, Wind & Kite Festival: This is an all-day FREE event held at San Ramon Central Park. Check out the 175 fine arts and crafts booths while enjoying live music and of course, the kite-flying!
