Saturday:

FREE Admission to the de Young Museum Day: Come celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr along with the African American community. There will be special musical performances, docents available for gallery tours, lectures, artist works, a film screen and free family arts and crafts. The event is all day at 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive in San Francisco.

Check out the FREE Lunar New Year Lion Dancing all over San Francisco. There will be a mini traveling festival including lion dancing at several Public Library branches.

Here are the locations and times for today

  • 10:15 – 10:45: Golden Gate Valley
  • 11:15 – 11:45: Western Addition
  • 12:00 – 12:30: Presidio
  • 4:00 – 4:30: Portola

Head on down to Pier 39 to visit with the sea lions! This FREE walking tour will celebrate the 28 years that the sea lions have been barking and hanging out on our pier. The event will be from 10:30 to 3:30p at Pier 39.

 

Sunday:

Get your roller-skates and head to 6th Ave and Kennedy Dr inside Golden Gate Park. It’s time for another FREE Sunday Disco Party. The skating will be from noon to 5pm
