I just finished all my Thanksgiving shopping yesterday and in total, I spent about $150. That covered everything I could possibly want in a Thanksgiving dinner, or at least I thought it did. Until this morning when I found out about the world’s most expensive Thanksgiving dinner and all that comes with it.

The elegance contained in this meal is enough to make even your stuck-up Aunt blush. Although, I do feel like they cheated a little bit because they throw in a shopping spree and a vacation. Technically this is the most expensive Thanksgiving weekend but either way, I can’t afford it.

So what’s does this dinner for 12 consist of? Check it out.

  • 2 Gold-flaked free range Turkeys
  • $1200/lb Spanish bacon sprinkled on top of sweet potatoes.
  • $300/lb white cheddar cheese from the UK
  • Gravy infused with a $3600 bottle of cognac
  • Cranberry sauce that has $250/dozen Japanese Straberries
  • Lobster stuffing with $1600/oz caviar
  • Asparagus seasoned with $91/oz Korean salt (What the heck?)
  • Mashed potatoes made with $850/lb cheese, $150/oz butter & $1000/oz truffles
  • Wine and Champagne

That’s all for the dinner, but they they throw in a $50,000 7 day yacht cruise, a $20,000 Black Friday shopping spree & tickets to the Super Bowl. So basically, the dinner only costs about $111,000 split 12 ways. Seems affordable right?

I’ll take my basic mashed potatoes, canned cranberry sauce and regular Turkey any day of the week.
