Our men’s bathroom is bigger than some studio apartments!

Ok, so maybe it isn’t THAT big but it is big enough and come to think of it, if you it wasn’t a bathroom and just space it might actually be about as big as a studio apartment nowadays.

I’m not trying to make this a gender bias thing but it is quite interesting to me that the bathrooms on our floor are not equal in size. It’s kind of comical actually. The men’s bathroom is way bigger and has more sinks. I think it’s pretty cool. I just wish that the women’s bathroom was the same size and had more sinks and more stalls because obviously women wouldn’t urinals.

The women’s bathroom has 3 stalls and 2 sinks with very little room to move around. If there are more than 4 people in there it can get pretty crowded. The men’s bathroom has 2 stalls, 3 sinks and 3 urinals and way more space to move around.

Take a look at the photos and see the difference. I got to take these photos because I made mention of it once in an FB update. I was talking with 2 of my male co-workers and out of curiosity we all checked out the bathrooms together. We made sure no one was in them so the other gender can take a first hand look.

When they entered the women’s bathroom they actually said, “WOAH!” and I said, “RIGHT?” They couldn’t believe how small it was!
